What do you do when you suspect that your child may have a disability?
Being a caregiver is a full time job, and education is a daily experience. Being an educator is an profession where observation is key. As you watch a child develop, there is a sense of comparison that can insert itself. Then, there can be a feeling of "something's not right" or "shouldn't they be doing ____ by now?"
